Thinking is one of our most valuable assets. When I lean back on my chair to carefully think something through people tend to interrupt me more often than if I am engrossed in some production work. Sometimes this gets to a point where I stop thinking and get back into production mode just so I can get on with my to-do list…thus a peaceful moment becomes frustrating.
Doing nothing is also important for ideas to germinate and grow….letting the subconscious take over.
This is the ponder zone. A white wall with chairs. A quiet area where you can hear your thoughts, focus and reflect.
“You need not leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, simply wait, just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice; it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
