Med in Ireland  is an event that we always look forward to here at Design Partners. This Bi-annual event is now firmly established and growing in terms of reach and audience.

The event, which is taking place in the RDS, Dublin on Thursday, 19th October, is organised by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government agency responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets and is Ireland’s largest medical technology event and a high-profile showcase for the entire spectrum of the Irish medical technology companies.

The 70 exhibiting companies offer services from research, design and development services, through to software, component supply, manufacturing and packaging across a multitude of end use cases and therapeutic areas.  Government agencies and the academic institutions supporting the Irish MedTech Sector will also be represented.

The event is somewhat unique as it is invite only for the visiting international companies, of which more than 250 are expected to attend this year. These companies will engage in one-to-one meetings on the day, with the possibility to arrange site visits in the days preceding the event. This brings real value to both the indigenous and visiting companies, as the meetings are well qualified and more meaningful all-round.

The Healthcare Team from Design Partners are participating at the event again this year and we can be found at Booth #20 in the exhibition hall. Please do call by to discuss your product design and development challenges, and to learn more about our range of physical design, digital interaction design and engineering services, which are complemented by our human factors engineering and usability testing services.
