The Good Design Awards are the world’s longest running design awards and they are presented annually in recognition of design excellence. They were founded in Chicago in 1950 by designers and architects Edgar Kaufmann Jnr, Charles and Ray Eames and Eeero Saarinem.
We are proud to announce that we won 16 awards this year. The awards span our three specialist categories Consumer, Professional and Healthcare.
We were awarded for 10 designs for our work in the Consumer team. Six of these were a collabortation with the Logitech Design Team with whom we are consistently breaking new ground. There were also four other awards in this category; designing the IQOS device for Philip Morris international, Homni Connected Sleep Monitor and the R Series Smart Scales for Terraillon and the Oro Collection for Flair Showers.
We have worked with the Electron microscope manufacturer FEI and the collaborative effort resulted in two awards for ID and User Interface design. The SensePoint gas detection range, by Honeywell won two awards following our success in the IF awards earlier in 2017. Also awarded was the Spacemouse Enterprise for 3Dconnexion with whom we have worked for 18 years.
